After graduating in 89, I completed my undergraduate degree from Virginia State University in 1993. I then moved to Baltimore, MD, worked for a bit and went back to school and completed a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2000. After this, I was accepted to a fellowship in clinical social work at the Yale University-Yale Child Study Center in child, adolescent, and family psychiatry and treatment. I did the fellowship for three years, left and was give the title of Assistant Clincal Professor at The Consultaion Center at Yale University. I coordinate three different programs working with adolescent populations in the area.
