Since the last reunion, there's been ever-present change (duh). Got unmarried, in a very civil manner. Learned the joys of becoming a regular in a bar, then learned the joys of spending the majority of my nights sober (much less effort required). Grew my hair long (again) and cut it off (again). Made an ass of myself at a wedding in CA (among other places).
Still working for a small consulting engineering firm in Austin (I'm a one-man office here), and I recently got my Professional Engineering license. Bought a '64 Mercury with some misguided sense that I would actually have the patience or skills to fix it. It could still happen, though I'd have to take it down off the blocks at some point. Bought my first house recently, and I'm slowly on a quest to fill the 50s house with modern furniture. Anyone passing through (or living in) Austin should call me up for a drink or something.
Since last reunion, I've seen Omid F, Brett R, and Nandan J from our class, and Kacey (Kate) Curl, Anne Martin-Foster (with hubby and baby), and Hee Kim from class of '90. Did I leave anyone out?
Blah blah blah. Apparently it's all about me. I'm not used to interacting with other humans; this solo office gig is getting old...
